Prince George's County Code Subtitle 11 outlines fire and life safety laws for the county. It requires certain building structures to be inspected for safety issues. Career personnel primarilly conduct commercial inspections in the Bowie area including day-care centers, group homes, and businesses. Courtesy safety checks are performed by both career and volunteer firefighters.

To schedule an inspection, please contact your nearest station between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:00 pm on weekdays.
