Members of the Bowie Volunteer Fire Department wear many different patches on their official and unofficial uniforms. The Department frequently receives requests for department and other patches. The following information is made available for public safety workers and general public to obtain some of the patches.

Department Patches

We do offer our official Department patch free of charge. Simply complete the patch request form and mail it along with a self addressed stamped envelope to the address on the form.

State EMS Certification Patches

We do not sell State of Maryland EMS patches (First Responder, Emergency Medical Technician, Cardiac Rescue Technician, or Paramedic). You may order them from the MIEMSS Licensure and Certification Merchandise Section.

Other Bowie VFD Patches

The Department does have other patches including the 75th anniversary commemorative patch and some unofficial station designs. We are currently working on creating a mechanism to make those patches available for sale.
